Last Day for Meal Pick-Up: Friday, May 22nd at Stanton-Smith Elementary

 

 

FREE Meals Offered to ALL Whitehouse ISD Students 

Whitehouse families,

We have made some adjustments to our Meal Pick-Up service for the remainder of the school closure.

 

We will continue to host a "Grab and Go" lunch at:

Stanton-Smith Elementary, however we will have a time change.

We will serve meals from 11:00am-12:00pm Monday - Friday (following the district calendar). 

We plan to incorporate hot lunch entrees on the menu beginning Monday, April 13, 2020.

 

Whitehouse ISD will be discontinuing mobile feeding at Shiloh Pines Mobile Park and Brookhollow Mobile Park.  The last delivery will be Thursday, April 9, 2020. 

 

The School Nutrition Department will continue to offer children 18 and under a free meal. Student(s) must be present to receive a meal or parent must have valid student identifier. Meals are not available for adults. The School Nutrition Department will provide a free packaged lunch and a breakfast meal for the next morning to all students.

We are estimating the number of meals based on Monday, however we will adjust numbers for the rest of the week based on meal demands and staffing. Menus are not available due to product availability. All menu items will contain a protein, grain, vegetables, fruit, and milk (flavors unavailable).

 

Curbside Service Food Safety Practices
● Please note that the meal provided during the Mitigation Period is intended for immediate consumption.
● All Food Safety practices have been followed in preparing the meal and we would like to
continue the food safety practice for the consumer.
● Any cold items that are not consumed (sandwich, milk, fruit/juice, or vegetable) should
be placed in the refrigerator to ensure proper storage for later consumption.
● Any hot items that are not consumed should be disposed of to ensure safety practices are followed.

 

 

The School Nutrition Department will offer children 18 and under a free meal. Student(s) must be present to receive a meal or parent must have valid student identifier. Food Safety Practices

Whitehouse School Nutrition Department will continue to follow safety protocols such as all faculty washing hands for 20 seconds, faculty wearing gloves when dispersing meals, and as much as possible, following social distance recommendations.

Comidas GRATUITAS ofrecidas a TODOS los estudiantes de Whitehouse ISD a través de

El Departamento de Nutrición Escolar de Whitehouse ISD proporcionará recogida de comidas al lado de la acera GRATUITA del 23 de marzo al 3 de abril para todos los niños de 18 años o menos. Todas las comidas se servirán de 11:00 a.m. a 12:30 p.m. diariamente en: Stanton-Smith Elementary 500 Zavala Trail, Whitehouse, Texas 75791.

El personal tendrá las comidas listas para distribución en el área de estacionamiento donde bajan a los estudiantes al lado de la carretera 110 de la escuela primaria Stanton-Smith. Este será un servicio de estilo walk up / drive up. Se colocarán carteles. Los niños menores de 18 años deben estar presentes para recibir una comida. Las comidas no están disponibles para adultos. El Departamento de Nutrición proporcionará un almuerzo empaquetado gratuito y un desayuno para la mañana siguiente a todos los estudiantes. Todas las comidas servidas incluirán proteínas, granos, frutas, verduras y leche o jugo.

 

Prácticas de seguridad alimentaria

El Departamento de Nutrición de la Escuela Whitehouse continuará siguiendo los protocolos de seguridad como por ejemplo toda la facultad lavarse las manos durante 20 segundos, la facultad usando guantes al momento de distribuir las comidas y, cuanto más se pueda, siguiendo las recomendaciones de distancia social.

  • Tenga en cuenta que la comida proporcionada durante el Período de Mitigación está destinada a ser consumida inmediatamente.
  • Se han seguido todas las prácticas de seguridad alimentaria en la preparación de la comida y nos gustaría continuar con la práctica de seguridad alimentaria para el consumidor.
  • Cualquier artículo frío que no se consuma (sándwiches, leche, fruta / jugo o vegetales) debe

colocarse en el refrigerador para garantizar un almacenamiento adecuado para su consumo más tarde.

  • Los artículos calientes que no se consuman deben eliminarse para garantizar que se sigan las prácticas de seguridad
