Dr. Christopher Moran named Lone Finalist for superintendent of San Angelo ISD

As many of you have learned, Dr. Christopher Moran has accepted the superintendent position for San Angelo ISD and will assume that role as of January 1, 2024. He has nearly 20 years of service to Whitehouse ISD and has served as our superintendent for the past eight years. We are deeply grateful for the contributions he has made to our school district and our community. We are excited for him and wish him the very best as he tackles the challenges of a district approximately three times the size of ours. I am confident he will be a true blessing to their district as he has been to ours.

We are equally excited for the future of Whitehouse ISD. Dr. Moran has done an exceptional job here and leaves us in a great position to attract quality applicants to lead Whitehouse ISD forward. We are working with Dr. Moran to develop an interim plan until we hire a new superintendent, and the board of trustees is working on a framework to begin our search for his successor.
