Congratulations Whitehouse STUCO for being named the TASC State Parliamentarian School and members of the TASC Board for 2018-2019.
On April 14th - 16th, the WHS Student Council attended the 82nd Annual State Conference in Arlington, TX.
STUCO ran on the platform related to the need to help fund adoption by using organizations like Adopt Together based out of California. They were afforded the opportunity to have a FaceTime conversation with the Adopt Together CEO at the conclusion of the conference. He was very excited to see our council take the initiative to help families fund adoptions.
WHS STUCO ran against Kempner High School for this position and prevailed. STUCO sponsor Randi Shaw says, “Whitehouse STUCO and Kempner STUCO maintain a friendly relationship and we wish them the best and hope to work with them this coming year.”
WHS STUCO Student Rep. Jarret Carnes and Advisor, Randi Shaw will represent Texas at the NASC in Minnesota during the summer (June).
