Al Flanagan named to WISD Board of Trustees

Whitehouse Independent School District Board of Trustees calls a special meeting to approve the appointment of Place 2 board member, Mr. Al Flanagan.

Flanagan took the oath of office, Wednesday, August 1st, 2018. WISD Board President Greg Hood spoke on behalf of the Board saying, “The Board is very pleased to add such a quality individual to the Board of Trustees in Mr. Al Flanagan. Mr. Flanagan has been serving on the WISD Education Foundation for the past several years and has been an integral part of the foundation and it's amazing success. Mr. Flanagan has a desire to serve his community and the students of Whitehouse. He brings a background of service and leadership to the Board and we look forward to working with Mr. Flanagan and the contribution he will make to the Board and the district. Mr. Flanagan will be a great and complementary addition to the WISD Board of Trustees.”
